I have been struggling with headaches since my major episode in 2001. I have recently seen a neurologist to help handle the light headaches. I would wake pretty much every morning with a mild headache which, if my stress level was too high, would turn into a migraine. I am on a daily medication now that has been helping a lot! When I do get a headache they seem to last for 12+ hours and since I am on a blood thinner, no medication will help. I have taken to using a cold compress on my neck and warm bath at my feet to help draw the headache down. It seems to help take the edge off enough to sleep it off. Hope this helps!

Yes, I get headaches often and range from mild to full blown migraine, and fatigue is almost everyday. Everyone is unique as far as symptoms and severity. I've was diagnosed in February this year but I'm sure due to symptoms that I had it for over a year. I've educated myself on different sights because some sites give little or more info. But I have learned most on mylupusteam because of the variety of people from all over the world with different types of lupus and non-lupus related illnesses.

Yes, it was a symptom long before my diagnosis. Amitriptoline has helped. Also when my biologic worked, the headaches subsided. Feel better soon.

I had a headache for 2 weeks that transformed into a migraine for another week afterwards :-/ the only thing that got me through was a cold rag on the back of my neck and a dark room good luck
