have that same problem at times try a benadryl lotion and if it get really bad go to er explain to them your flaring and get them to give you a shot of benadryl and a shot of prednisone (it helps ALOT)

Is it the Lupus or the Plaquenil thats causing the unbearable itching? Ive been on plaquenil for over 10 yrs and this itching started on and off about 2 yrs ago. It can last for days or months at a time. On my shoulders and arms
