It must be nice to have a husband to be by your side

I gain weight even when I look at food. Too tired to exercise to keep it off, even when I walk fast everywhere I do go. Always in a hurry to get things done so I can sit down cause I don't get back up after I sit.

I agree, I gain weight with everything. I gain when in a flare, evidently while on prednisone, and also when my flare subsides if I don't stop eating carbs. The only thing that I have found that works is good all fashioned 'eat right-excercise if you can' to keep the weight off.

I also gained weight, about 30 pounds. Am finally beginning to take some of that off. Felt like a 1-2 punch with the diagnosis/medications and the weight gain. I, too, did not take steroids and felt like I did not eat any more than normal.

Ive gained weight too. I use to be active by bike riding and walking -outside activities but now lupus has put a stop to that. I burn so fast. :( plus my energy level is so much lower. Im tired all the time.
