B12 and potassium does help. I find if I take a hot-hot bath just before going to bed my legs don't twitch as much. I also try to limit my fluid intake closer to bedtime so I'm not having to get back up as son as I get comfortable.

I also take Gabapentin generic for Neurontin and I take 300 mg 3 times a day but I still need the Hylands restless leg medicines to stop it in its tracks. I do stand on my feet when I start to get a cramp or what is called a charlie horse in the muscles of my legs and toes and that helps a lot until the leg cramp medicine gets into my blood stream. Hopefuly you can get some hylands Leg cramp meds and restless leg meds so you will be well equiped to make sure you can stop the afull cramps in your legs. Blessings, Sandy

I have both and I have noticed on a night that I have leg cramps that I didn't drink enough water. I always keep Gatorade in the fridge and I take Magnesium Citrate daily for this. It also helps my restless leg syndrome. Hope this helps. Hug.

Restless leg syndrome....yep....I use to have it so bad I would have to keep moving....I've been put on gabapentin, really high dose over time did not help....cyclobenzaprine also known as flexril works much better for me...I use to get the worse leg cramps in the calves of my legs when pregnant...it's difficult to do but if you can stand up & get on your tippy toes maybe with the help of a wall it almost immediately makes the cramp feel better & usually go away. Please be careful.
