Sierra Vista, AZ

My hands have formed these thick skin patches that are dry and scaly and it makes it so the feeling in that area is less. I have no clue how to treat this does anyone know???

It's what the Cowboys put on the cow utter if it gets dried out. I think they use it after the bull looses his umm balls. I just know that it's safe and every cow man in this area puts it on any skin problem. You actually get it at the feed store but if there isn't one near you I bet if you put bag balm on a Internet search you can buy it.

So very true. I bought bag balm at the feed store and the patches of yucky skin are almost gone that stuff is amazing. I recommend people try it, what's the worst that could happen, you wake up with a whole new set of utters. Lmao. Seriously I'm not opposed to trying anything once and more times if it works. Thank you I hope you are doing well and God sends blessings to you

Just a thought... After 30 years with disease I have seen people who have used cortisone creams long term... It will thin your skin... Please Use it sparingly and save yourself grief later.

I hope that works @A MyLupusTeam Member, I just started using baby eucerine cream with bag balm and it's doing miracles. I also have started drinking more because the Dr said a thirsty body will steal water and your limbs are first

Get some steroid cream from your rhuemy, what do people do that have skin involvement they use steroid cream, malar rash, discoid lesions, hypertrophic lesionx, panniculitis. What do you think oral steroids do to your body, it all causes damage. But what does lupus do it causes damage those medicines are their to help control that damage, long term effects are not good on anyone but what do you do. Lupus with skin involvement is damaging to your self worth this disease is not to be taken lightly. That otc crap does not work if it did we would not have lupus today.
