Blood work

It depends on your situation, ie: meds that require regular blood tests, or just 6 month visits to specialists or new doctors who want your blood work done. The less times the better as far as I am concerned, who likes needles? ;)

Mine is done every 3-4 weeks along with urine samples. When my lupus isn't active they tend to not need it as often. So I'd have to say it varies but if at anytime you feel it's not being done frequently enough or something/test was missed or off I'd ask your doctor and see if it can be done to ease your mind. Hugs!

My dr does blood work every 6 months unless I've had some adverse turn of events.

When I first started going to my rheumy he has me come every 4 months but if your blood work looks normal I started going every 6 months eventually unless your having issues or get really sick once a year. It all depends on your dr and what he thinks you need or how you are feeling.
