What are treatments for lupus other than methotrexate and gabapentin that are working? The pain and nausea are crazy.. Gabapentin makes me live on the bubble watching the world go on without me..
I've been on Planquenil for 3 years and Cell Cept for 10 months. Cell Cept gave me strong side effects initially but after my body adjusted I've handled it well. My medical team tells me my meds are working as my blood levels are the most stable they've been in a long time.
Turmeric for inflammation. L-lysine and folic acid for mouth sores. Biotin for hair loss. Ginger and peppermint for nausea. My doc at Mayo Clinic ok'd all these natural treatments.
Thank you I will try that I've never heard of it
I use Saldapol tablets which you dissolve in water and when I have pain or nausea which is often I take 2 tablets and it works for me.
They sure nothing else going on? To make sure not missing a diagnosis? Gabapentin is more for Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, nerve pain, restless leg syndrome, I thought.
Try Benlysta? It just made me really anxious, but heard works for some people. Plaquenil?
Short-term: Prednisone, NSAIDS, Cordisone shots (possible to get too much and your body gets ruined by these if too much), Tramadol, Flexeril?
