Does anyone have swollen fingers. I also have an extremely swollen pinkey that is red, and hot at the tip to the first knuckle, very painful under the nail and unable to bend. I also have Reynauds. I swear! If it's not one thing, it's a hundred!

When I am in a flare, my fingers often time are my first inkling that my Lupus/Rheumatoid/Raynauds/sjorgens is acting out again. I have read a few posts and you know you have to find the right solution for your pain and swelling. Mine is anti-inflammatory medicine, warming them and doing slow range motions with a light massage. Keep trying different things to find what calms the monster inside you. Good luck.

Yes my fingers swell often along with my wrist knees and lower back. Cutting back or even stopping unnatural sugar well help. Sugar causes inflammation. I also find laughter is the best med. So have fun with it (as much as you can). I give everything names. For example when I cancel out on going to a crochet class I just tell everyone I'm having a"Freddy Fat Finger day". When I get the rashes on my legs it a speckled frog day and so on. I find adding humor helps.

I think I have raynauds but not confirmed. My palms have been very red...red that my rheumy saw it too and asked about stiffness or joint pains. I told him that I do sometimes. I do have swollen fingers! So swollen that I can not wear my wedding rings. Sometimes, my palms itch. What supplements helps with that AshleyBee? It's noticeable worse during the winter months.
