Has anyone ever had a tightness in their chest that lasted a few days?
It almost feels like a bubble thats stuck there, and hurts when you breathe too hard.

And also, second question, any scalp itchiness not due to the sun?
I have SLE, not Discoid, so I rarely get rashes or itchy unless I am in the sun for a prolonged period of time.

I get chest pain a lot and it hurts to breath. It really made me quite nervous at first but one time I went to urgent care and they took a chest x-ray - nothing wrong. I have read about this a lot and it is part of Lupus. I usually get this when I overdo it.

Discoid Lupus affects affects only the skin. SLE affects many other parts of the body, including major organs. As a non-professional, that is my understanding of the two.

I get this periodically if I over do it or if I spend a prolonged period in the sun. Last fall I spent a day in the ER because of it. Apparently this just another symptom of lupus. My doc says that we will monitor it over time. But it's very scary and unpleasant.
