Does anyone have periods of such extreme fatigue that all you can do is sleep for days at a time? Going on three days of sleeping with maybe an hour awake.
I also go back and forth with the insomnia mixed in... It's really effecting my life.
I have been experiencing this myself over the last couple of weeks. I'm assuming it is either a mild flare or the beginning of one. I go between complete insomnia to complete exhaustion. Very frustrating.
I was going to ask if there is anyone who wakes up after a sleeping all night, who could turn around and go right back to sleep. I have been struggling with this every day this week....seriously....I could sleep the day away every day - I'm so exhausted
Yes, I do. I think this is one of the very emotionally difficult symptoms of a flare moving in or staying. I am so grateful when I move out of a flare and I have more energy. When this fatigue/lethargy moves in, it's hard not to be disappointed. For me it can last for weeks. I try to pay attention to anything that may move me into flare zone. I have had this sleeping all the time and I was not depressed. I was tired and drained of energy. But, remember, your mind wants to agree with you body so this fatigue can cause depression. I become very jealous of my time when I do have energy. I don't want to waste it. Try to be patient with the tireness. It's not like you just have a cold. It's a disease, Give yourself care.
I could sleep every single day for hours at a time; it's very hard to stay awake...if I don't get up and move I will fall deep asleep. Very depressing....
