Some days I am really puffy in the face, you can see it in my eyes. Since I haven't been to a rheumatologist yet,I don't know much. I don't even know what type of Lupus I have. Thank you for your answers.
Thanks, yes it is my eyes, not really my face.
@A MyLupusTeam Member and @A MyLupusTeam Member Agreed...the things you listed come from what I listed. A "puffy" face can be caused by Cushing's Disease or Hashimoto's. Inflammation per say can not be seen unless it is joints where swelling occurs. At least that is my understanding. And yes, lupus can cause swollen eyes.
Are you taking cortisone ?? that will have the effects you are experiencing ?? XX
Inflammation occurs anywhere, skin, muscles, joints, blood vessels, heart, lungs, kidneys, intestines and on and on. Even your nerves and central nervous system. Journal, journal, journal: symptoms, time, place, events, weather, stress, pain. Take pictures if you can. Your Dr. only has your information to go on.
@A MyLupusTeam Member. And @A MyLupusTeam Member. I'm not sure if I can do this or not but I'll give it a try and will someone let me know… I'm getting a bit confused LOL! Do both of you ladies actually have lupus well, I think I read one of you didn't even know if you did or not. You have to be diagnosed by a rheumatologist via blood work. Keep us posted! Also, where did I miss the grape thing?
