I just took my temperature and it was 36.5...I waited 5 minutes and took it again and and it was the same temperature 36.5. What can be wrong.
Hi Free
The temperature is normal 36,5 do you have a digital thermometer? It may be on the C setting and not your usual setting of F In Aussie our normal temp is 36 to 37,5 so thats what makes me feel you have it on the wromg setting Hope I am right Hope you feel better soon

Wait an hour and then retake . Sometimes medications and an underactive thyroid can cause a lower body temperature. Also if you take your temperature via mouth make sure you haven't had anything cold or hot to drink right before taking it .
@A MyLupusTeam Member: 98.6 is Normal. If it goes up you know something is going on. However, I have learned that when I think I have a fever because I get hot or feeling a little sickly and it is normal, then I go back and think, "oh that's right, menopause. I guess with all the sickness and knowing symptoms I automatically think the worst. Rest and relax and do like the others suggested, wait a little while longer and take it again
Really that is close to normal ? I was alway told 98.6 was the average normal and that is what my temp is now. Does this mean I have a high fever ?
I truly love the way everyone jump in to help each other! I wish we found you all when my daughter was first diagnosis. Everyone has such good answers for Ms. Free! I would have guessed you have your thermometer set on C' instead of F' because normal body temp in C' is 36.5 to 37.5 which is the same as 96.5 to 97.5 F'
