I had a very sore nose - on one side- with swelling about 3 times, years before diagnosis. I went to an ent and he said it was cellulitis and gave me an antibiotic. He said it would get worse before it got better if I didn't take the med. so I did and it was gone. Next time, I didn't take anything and it went down in 4 days on its own. I was given over 50 bottles of IV antibiotics in 1990 after having my daughter via c section with life threatening complications because they thought I had an infection. Should have Been checked then for autoimmune but wasn't. I hate to take them now because I feel I won't be able to use them when I need them. Hope it heals fast or u get answers from a doc.

I'm happy the ice helped! Even if it hurts on the inside and there's no sores an ice pack on the outside of the nose will still bring down swelling and help with the pain.

It goes with Lupus, I notice it more when weather changes. I do not understand why it affects the nose. I just have the pain, soreness when touched............ prayers are with you my dear

Inside the nose is often nose ulcers (and so painful). Definitely recommend Q-tip with triple antibiotic ointment on it! Hope nose feels better soon :)
