At night and usually when I'm sound asleep and I stretch I get really bad cramps in my lower legs and my feet. I have to get up and walk around to get relief. I tried being careful of what I was eating to see if this had any effect and I didn't notice a difference. If you are experiencing the same what is working or has worked for you?
Lots of people who do not have lupus experience similar problems. When we have lupus, we are likely to blame everything we have on lupus. Keep a symptom journal. When do you have the symptom, how often, how long does it last, what makes it better, what makes it worse, and what makes it feel better? Create a summary and bring it with you to your doctor. Have a discussion.
All the time especially at night. I drink a lot of water and sleep with a pillow under my legs or between my knees. This may sound crazy but drink a tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and a table spoon of honey every morning and before bed. They are both natural anti-inflammatories and help with blood flow
I have the same issue. If it gets real bad, I have a wonderful husband who rubs my legs and feet until I fall asleep. He is really aware of my health issues and extremely supportive. This is the only way I get relief at night as it isn't as bad as when I lay down to go to sleep and this is the routine we have fallen into, but it works.
I get leg cramps when I don't drink enough water. Try drinking more and see if that helps.
I have muscle cramps to random parts of my body . I find vitamin D3 helps me
