Since yesterday I've noticed I can't speak right, I was about to say something and I can't get it out right. Has this ever happen to you if yes what can this be....is it relayed to lupus or something else. Thank you in advance.

Happens to me ALL...THE...DAMN...TIME! Drives my kids bonkers b/c I go to say something to them and stop mid sentence, then I finally remember and finish...we joke that they could do 2 chores in the time it takes me to finish a thought! Seems between the brain fog, age and my self diagnosed dyslexia of the mouth, I am a lost cause! Maybe it's time to use the kids magna doodle...lol...course that could only happen on days when I don't have the shakes...lol Have no fear, you are not alone! If you are truly worried always BEST to have it checked!

Most people called it Lupus brain fog. Otherwise known as cognitive dysfunction. I like @Lupie80 I mean to say one thing but something crazy comes out. I would tell my some to
Go take his clothes out of the refrigerator. People would look at me like I was crazy. My son was the only one who learned what I would really mean. Also when I write or email people I have to really proof read even then sometimes what I write is sooo mixed up. Lately I have been struggling really bad with spelling. I can not remember how to spell anything.

The confusion and memory issues are a part of this lovely disease like Ms Syd and the other's said, like right now I had a hard time spelling issues:). If your slurring your words, feel numbness of your face or your vision is blurred contact your Dr and go to the ER.I wish you well,Hugs&blessings.

Yep, happens all the time. I think it has something to do with the brain fog. Try not to worry about it so much. Your not dumb and I don't think it's a stoke unless you're having other stroke like symptoms it's just part of being a Lupie 💜
