Does anybody get nausea with prednisone
prednisone makes your appetite ravenous the more they go up on the dosage the worse it is i was on 5 mg then went to 10 mg now i am on 20 mg before my prednisone was upped i got full easily or did not have an appetite, lupus can cause a lack of appetite and some of our medicines make you feel full but with prednisone it makes you feel as if you had not eaten you have to have a strong will power to not let it consume you and make you eat sometimes I eat until I get that full feeling then I don't eat any more but I've figured out a way to beat the side effects that come with prednsione I eat saltine crackers with peanut butter or a peanut butter and jam sandwich with a glass of cold milk that usually does the trick for me @A MyLupusTeam Member
It could be because you ate a big meal sometimes I get nauseous after eating a big meal @A MyLupusTeam Member
make sure you eat a proper meal one that's gonna get you full is your dosage high i always felt nauseous whenever my prednisone was upped @A MyLupusTeam Member
I do eat but I guess I wasn't eating enough
Yes!!!! It not only makes me gain weight, I'm feel like I'm going to be sick! Hugs to you!!!
Oh no I'm the opposite. I gained more of an appetite and I eat til I feel super full. I know it's bad. But if I don't eat then I feel bad too. So it's a lose lose !!
