Does anyone else have pericarditis or tightness in the chest with difficulty breathing? How do you ease the chest pain?

When you have this symptom, it's serious and you should see your Doctor or go to an ER immediately!!

I've been trying to deal with this for almost 3 years. I think I had covid then, it was when they were not testing the general public. I was very very sick. Since then I've found that my chest is tight and I don't have enough lung air. It's like my lungs can't expand all the way and I lose my voice at the end of the sentence. I've had a CT scan (I have a very small spot at the bottom of my left lung. So small the doctor is not worried about it). My lungs sound clear. The doctor said it could be viral or muscular.
I've been trying box breathing to work at the muscles. Picture the shape of a door. Trace down the right side of the door and breath in (5 seconds), trace the bottom and hold your breath (2 seconds), follow up the left side and release the breath (5 seconds), and hold your breath across the top of the door (2 seconds). I'm not a medical professional, but this is what my chiropractor/acupuncturist has suggested I try. I find holding my breath with deflated lungs is the hardest part of this exercise.

Thanks for the advice, guys. One more month and I can go back to the doctor :) I'll try a heating pad and ice, hopefully that helps. I'm guessing part of the problem is not being on meds, but nothing I can do about that until August. I appreciate the input!
