I have kidney problems still a ongoing investigation. I did have surgery to remove part of one for another reason, they found a mass. The one important thing I did find out was a kidney function test shows more than the urine the blood. My creatine levels where up but not that much, but when I had the function test they said it was working at only 30% I would of thought the blood and urine would of showed more. I am going to a kidney doctor in august to get more info. THe surgeon has been dealing with me mostly and they don't get into the function to much. I wish you luck but maybe ask for a function test. I was having a ultra sound for a gall bladder stones and that is when they found a mass in my kidney, I was very lucky it was found early and was able to be removed, it was cancer. I will get rechecked every 6months to see if it comes back, they told me it could come back in either kidney but the chances are low. @A MyLupusTeam Member, i am glad they got your cancer early. That is scary. I am not hurting in my back at all today but have been for 7days. It is crazy. I will keep an eye on it. :)

It is strange. My symptoms are pain in right flank with urinary frequency. The flank pain is pretty painful. My labs are fine so they think it is arthritis or muscle pain. My platelets are too high always and my chloride is always low.
