I dont have the typical lupus butterfly rash. Never really did
. But, summertime i do get a few really bad flaky patches on my face. I literally avoid sun at any cost!! ๐Ÿ˜
Ive been trying to find a product to help the dryness && redness.
Ive bought a ton of different products. From real expensive to real cheap.
But, nothing seem to be working.

Looking for product recommendations && i heard theres a few home "remedies" as well...

HELPPPPPP MEEEEE!!!

Buy aloe plant. I get this weird rash feet and hand. Little Blisters that drain and spread then dry out get crusty then start the cycle all over. Tried everything then a farm saw it and gave me a aloe plant. I clear it all up and never came back. Plants can be pricey but u can go to a Chinese grocery store and buy one big leaf for a dollar. I've had many other dry rough patches that I've used it on.

Dermatologist recommend Cera Ve its a cream it works good. She said creams work better for moisturizing. I also use Eucerin because it had sunscreen but doesn't leave that icky feeling feels natural. My face and body are very sensitive. I have that lovely butterfly rash. Hope you find relief.

I use coconut oil too. But I use the cream form. It's wonderful. I use the oil on my dog. Helps her skin too.!!!

I don't get a full butterfly rash either and like you I avoid the sun at all costs. When I do break out I find aloe gel is both a comfort and a healer.
