Hey gang ! Question for you.
Has anyone experienced pain in their gums!? Like it doesn't hurt at all when I eat. However, when I brush my teeth, it's a different story. It hurts a lot and it's kind of annoying. Wondering what it could be ? Anyone else experience this ?
Thanks.
Gums are more than likely inflaming it happens you're gonna need a softer toothbrush cause brushing hard only makes it worse
I've had similar problems. Mouth ulcers. Can't eat crunchy food without irritation and sometimes the toothbrush. Try a soft brush and hold it at the ends of your fingers while brushing, it's a softer touch.
You might want to check with your dentist. Feel better!
I experience this from time to time due to inflammation from lupus and or side effect from meds! I am pretty sure it can be annoying at times! God bless and hope you feel better soon!
Colgate 360 slim soft toothbrush. Made for this purpose and cleans efficiently. From the posts, there could be many reasons for what you're experiencing so I would gonwith the experts and talk to your dentist and rheumy and suggest they talk to each other and coordinate your care. If they say anything negative, tell them you are requesring best practices (aka coordination of care between providers!) This is also a condition set forth in their contracts with the insurance companies.
