Has your magnesium levels been checked lately that can cause muscle spasms and twitches as well as you stated could be issues from that injury you sustained 24 years ago, hope your doctor figures out what's going on.

I have similar symptoms. My rheumy and a few neurologists say it is chorea, a rare symptom of lupus. It was the first major symptom that got me close to a diagnosis. Hopeful that yours has nothing to do with lupus though! I think it best to let your rheumy know about this.

I have leg arm and shoulder twitches all the time. I think it's a medication side effect but no one seems to know or want to tell me why. I also clench my jaw a lot while sleeping. Sometimes my leg twitches ate so strong I kick the blankets off the bed. 🌸
