Has anyone been put on the chemo pill as part of their treatment program?

Devsdeca.....it depends on what you have wrong...

I have all major organ involvement severe....i cant stay in remission without it I've tried.....

Lupus is an over active immune system...in order to bring it down they have to use some from off chemo to reduce your over active immune system...so that your body doesn't attack itself.

But everyone case is different...i have to have it...can you stay in remission without it?? And what type of lupus do you have?

Good luck 🍀

I am actually very curious about this as chemotherapy was recommended for me;however, I didn't feel the reasoning behind it given to me by my immunologist at the time was clear enough for me to agree to it. Has anyone found it was worth it?

I haven't found it to be worth it, but some people benefit greatly. I will say that the drug is extremely expensive depending on your insurance. Luckily mine is good and I already hit my max this year so it's free but one time CVS ran my insurance wrong and they said it would be close to $1000 out of pocket 😅😳.
