Sudden Food Allergies

Sudden Food Allergies

Has anyone suddenly got food allergies from everyday foods? I suddenly became allergic to avocados, tomatoes, yogurt, bananas, blueberries, peanuts, and coffee so far in 4 weeks. I'm waiting to see an allergist but it's starting to get hard to eat. I seem to get a new allergy everyday. And not a small allergy either. I get hives, swollen face and itchy throat and tongue.

I get hives, itchy face and throat. My eyes swell. I have breathing problems. My chest gets tight and sometimes my heart beats rapidly depending on each food that I eat. Every couple days I seem to have a new allergy. And I have to wait a couple months to see the allergist. All my doctor told me was make a list and keep taking allergy meds. That's all I can do right now.

I have become gluten intolerant. My eye sight has changed. Not sure if it the disease or the medication. Hope your doctor can help you!

I just want to say if anyone is having eye trouble get it checked out. I waited too long and got scratched corneas and compromised vision. Once it was diagnosed I had tiny plus put in my tear ducts ( not painful) to help create more tears as my eyes Were too dry and used reststian eye drops and initially eye drops with antibiotic in it and now the scratches healed up and my vision is mich better. Now and then I get a eye flare up ( itchy red sore) and the I use the antibiotics eye drops for about 10 days and use the restatin after that. I get my eyes checked regularly since that happened.

I went through a phase where I was "allergic" to almost all foods. It's Lupus going wonky. I don't seem to have this issue anymore. It lasted for about 3-6 months and then just vanished.
