Yes, the Prednisone causes major mood swings for me. When I have to stress does, I am like laughing hysterically one minute, then so angry the next, and also wanting to eat everything in sight. Thankfully, I do ok with it, when I am in a stable dose, and not too much stress in my life, and can get enough sleep. Otherwise, watch out! LOL!!

I think lupus impacts every part of our being. Yes medications can and do affect us negatively. But I feel that lupus is the biggest culprit. Our nervous system is on overload continuously! I wonder how well they could conduct themselves when faced with the many issues lupus bestows on us! Don't be so hard on yourself, and they should all try to be a little more compassionate and understanding. Wish I had a magic pill to give to our loved ones to open their eyes.
