Miami, FL

Hey my lady friends !

Well I have an upcoming appointment with a gynecologist December 15th. This will be my first time seeing a gyno since I've been diagnosed with Lupus.

Would like advice on what to look for and would also like to know what questions I need to be asking her ?

Any advice will help !

Thanks in advance ,
Cynthia 💜

Everyone above has given great advice. I make all my doctors aware of my different medical conditions and have them send their visit notes to each other. Hormonal changes affect many different things so I would make your Gyn aware of any changes or concerns you know of or have.

Make sure you write down all your questions, especially let her know how you feel about children. Gentle hugs and prayers!

He will want a list of your medication. THen tell him any new symptoms you might be having due to bleeding etc. Also ask if lupus can effect your hormones etc. and fertility if you are thinking of having children. Maybe a blood work up of what he deals with. gentle hgus and blessings

As everyone else said, let the doctor know of your Lupus, the list of meds you are taking. My periods are really bad as well and my GYN recommended birth control but I don't want to take anything else. Last month my period was okay with the cramps so I'm hoping that it continues this way! Good luck with your appointment and let us know how it goes💜
