Hey guys. I keep getting these sores on my scalp. Some of them are obviously just straight sores but some of them are hard big red bumps. And they hurt. They end up turning yellowish and lasting a few days. What is going on?

@A MyLupusTeam Member good early morning. Yeah I know it's really early in the morning, but as I was going to lay down for the night, I had some issues going so I came back to the site. I'm so sorry that you're going through this situation. I too suffered with sores and bumps on my scalp. I thought it was psoriasis (sp?), but like you both I used to color my hair. Once I stopped my scalp began to condition it regularly. Once again my scalp began to heal. Smitty

I started to get them too about two weeks ago when my doctor told me to go off folic acid. I was on folic acid to stop mouth sores for methotrexate but now I have both mouth an head sores so I'm going to start it again an see what happens.
I find washing in cold water helps

I get them too. I changed my hair care products and stopped using color on my hair. This has helped. I am so sensitive to chemicals.... soaps, hair products, and lotions... even BABY OIL causes problems with my skin.
