Members enthusiastically shared their favorite hot teas in response to a request for suggestions, with an impressive variety of recommendations including chai, green tea, chamomile, ginger, peppermint, turmeric, and oolong. Several members shared personal health reasons behind their choices, such as ginger for nausea and stomach issues, turmeric for inflammation, chamomile for relaxation, and green tea as a switch after health concerns linked to black tea. A recurring theme was the comfort and ritual of tea time itself, with members describing cozy routines involving honey, warm blankets, and favorite mugs as ways to soothe both body and mind.

I found I get acid build up in my stomach a lot and ginger tea is the best and it helps with nausea too.

Now Alain, don't forget you live in Georgia. You know sweet ice tea is the official tea of the deep south. If you start down this road you could be giving up friend okra by this time next year. What will your neighbors think.

Peppermint or orange and spice tea, both are my favorites to help soothe a sore belly or busy mind. But there is a ritual that is imperative to enjoy their affects... I know it sounds odd, but it works. First don't ever drink tea from a metal or plastic thermo- mug, it ruins the taste. You must use a glass insulated mug... next wear the comfy clothes that makes you want to snuggle in, and lastly pick a spot where you feel the most positive from. I know some have a spot on the porch swing in the early morning or late evening to watch the sky change brilliant colors, others have a spot on the couch next to a window, or even wrapping up in a special fuzzy blanket, one person I know actually calls that blanket their "tea time snuggles". The importance of this is to calm your body, heart, and mind with a special thing you do for extra comfort. I have a friend that swears by ginger tea because it has tummy soothing affects. I love honey in my tea or if I use sugar, it's sugar in the raw. It has a richer taste to it because of the molasses in it. I use a splash of milk or lactose free milk too.... What kind of tea do you like @A MyLupusTeam Member?

I had three kidney stone incidences and was told that black tea was the culprit! I am a tea lover & have switched to flavored green teas.
