Occasionally, my skin hurts to be touched. It feels different from a sunburn. It feels just.... I don't know... raw?

I know the feeling. Sometimes just walking barefooted on the carpets hurt and even the grass hurts my feet. My shower has to be tepid because if it is hotter it hurts. There are some kinds of materials from where clothing is made of hurts.

It is awful! I hate it! My scalp hurts at times too!

That's a good analogy, megk .My back upper teeth ached for a couple of months even though I was at the dentist and had no problems. My ears ring, and my scalp hurts. Now that's disappeared but my chest, knee, and neck ache. Lupus just travels around and you never know what's going to be affected next. ????

@A MyLupusTeam Member, I do experience that and for me it's exactly like @A MyLupusTeam Member describes it. I feel like I've been burned and nothing in particular has happened to cause it to happen. I did however notice that I had that feeling on my left hand 4 or 5 days before the other symptoms of the current flare really got bad.

I do, the way I been describing it is it feels like I've been burned with steam. But you hit it right on the head
