I often miss work due to Lupus flare ups & anxiety/depression. When I return to work people ask "are you feeling better? Did you have a cold?" For some reason people always assume you are out sick with a cold. I never know how to respond. Do I say "I have Lupus"?
Yes say you have Lupus and they can google for explanation. I find that some of my family and friends still don't understand what it's all about. I am tired of explaining. I refer them to Google.
