I am on day three of facial swelling and now I have lost my voice. Does anyone else experience this with their flares?

I have facial swelling often (I hate it!) and raspy voice at times. Prednisone would make my Reflux worse too, which made the voice even worse!

I do but I have shojgrens ...as well as lupus. Does your mouth stay dry as well as eyes. Eyes are swollen.

@A MyLupusTeam Member I am very interested in this too. I have been on increased steroids for the past 3 weeks and they are helping with the joint pain but my voice still sounds like I have a bad cold or that my vocal cords are really strained. I have had this issue occur every few months for years but I'm not sure if it was connected to the lupus. I also have had swollen lymph nodes for the past month and that has also been occurring off and on for years. Hopefully, others can weigh in and let us know if they also suffer from these symptoms.

I also have issues with my voice. Almost like coming down with a cold.
