I haven't had any trouble. The only thing I would add is I have to use high quality products. The lower quality hair color made my hair dry and break off easy.

I highlighted my hair at home and dyed it shades of blue and green. It did not increase hair fall. My hair fall increases with stress, heat and going to bed with wet hair. As far as the color taking, some of the green is still there from 4 months ago =) Blues mostly washed out fast, but the dye may have been old.

I dye to hide gray as well but since I have been on plaquenil the hair loss is not as bad. I try not to wash too much some days i just put conditioner on my hair but all depends what ur situation is as for how much u wash

I dye my hair to hide grey ones. Problem is hair fall. I just ignore. Anyway, even if I dye or not I still have hairfall. I just use mild shampoo.
I am on methotrexate. I believe that one of its side effects is haifall. I take biotin supplements.

Im on plaquenil and my hair dye didnt take she had to redo it.
