I was diagnosed with Lupus in September. Been using IT Foundation also. Works great as i spend a lot of time outside.
Ive bought ever high end brand and even took makeup airbrushing class - (which is harder to do airbrushing detail without a heavy hand on yourself). Best so far from my list: For foundation sunblock, I use IT Cosmetics with 50+ spf. For foundation over other sunscreen, I use Oxygenetics. I am prescribed Differin lotion for discoid, Aczone for facial redness, and Clobetasol for sores. Hope it helps.
Funny, my facial complexion was always pretty great. When I got Lupus, it affected my skin from shoulders down but seemed to have spared my face. However, not sure if it's SLE, Meds, hormones or a combo of any of those, but my face breaks out in terrible blemishes. I have more acne as adult than I ever did as a teenager. My dermatologist prescribed Aczone; it took about 5 months but it's finally, seemingly, getting under control.
