Like you all, I have a rash, but it comes out in the sun. Even if I am out for a minute, I can feel it starting to burn. I am older and my skin is also dry. I use olive oil as a body/face oil. Straight out of the kitchen, any brand will do. I also use IT Cosmetics CC 50+ cream. It acts as both a sunscreen and foundation in 1. I find it works for me without adding a lot of products. Good luck, hope this helps!

Thanks for your response, Jmleigh3. I'm sorry you're having to deal with skin issues constantly.

My facial rash is intermittent, but my skin is also super sensitive to skin products. Anything with sunscreen gives me a bad rash -- even the baby products that are labeled hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, formulated for sensitive-skin, etc.

Because I'm on methotrexate, I have 2 reasons to avoid the sun so I just stay indoors essentially. When asked what sunscreen I used, my answer was "a tall office building." Now it would be "the roof of my house."

I also have problems trying to use makeup to cover the malar rashes. It seems like foundation makeup or concealer makes my skin look worse, and then I will have a bad reaction to using the makeup.

Mine never goes away. It is more heightened some times but it is always mildly present.
I have found nothing to make it go away.
If you find a way I would love to know.
My skin is so sensitive I can barely use any products. When I do apply makeup or special creams my fave stings/burns and is uncomfortable for several days.

I also have the rash on my face. It is always there, more noticeable sometimes than others. Was wondering if it will always be there myself.
