I get spasms anywhete..neck..arm

Hands feet when my body lacks calcium and magnesium. So I take them morning and bedtime to keep them away. It works for me. Spasms are extremely painful. When I get it in my neck I also yake a strong anti-inflamatory capsule together with two painkillers..(never on empty stomach) and lie down. I works for me. Hope it ll be useful to somone else.

I've had my hand lock up carrying my purse a few times and had to have my daughter help me pull my fingers to straighten them to get my purse out of my hand. Never thought of mentioning it to my Dr. but a good idea. I just thought it was something odd to do with getting older. (I'm only 63 and never diagnosed with arthritis) Drs seem to blame everything else on that. It took me years to find out I have connective tissue diseases. It seems to happen when I'm over tired. But I don't get sweaty or shaky. I also have spasms in my toes especially when I've been walking or have been on my feet. Even a sheet touching them at night can set it off. My Dr has never had an answer for it. I've heard spasms can be from lupus. I was diagnosed a year ago so still have a lot to learn. Hugs, LJ

This has occurred before but not too often, usually it's dehydration as far as an issue with me. But, it could be a number of things. Definitely, it get this checked out with a Dr.

My hand haven't looked up but my fingers do occasionally. When you get to the doctor ask if it could be Fibromyalgia as well.
