I just wanted to ask if anyone is or has tried alternative medicine?
I just went to see a naturopathic doctor last week and I absolutely loved it. It's like night and day from seeing my rheumatologist. She listen to me we spent two hours talking about everything I was going through and I feel like she genuinely cared and is trying some new different alternative things other than taking prednisone for everything. Was a great experience. We are also doing a food sensitivity test that will helpme determine what I should and should not be eating. The only downside is you have to pay pretty much out of pocket. Insurance won't cover anything other than some of the blood work. But for me it was worth it every penny
I started with a naturopath recently. I also use accupuncture and restorative yoga....recommend all!!
I go to see a homeopathic lady every month, without her help I would be much worse..I have drops for fatigue and pills for joint pains, also pills for stress which really help every day x she is a God send xx
@A MyLupusTeam Member I know that just cutting sugar makes a world of difference for me. The only thing I wouldn't be game to stop would be my warfarin (I had a pulmonary embolism)
Yep I use acupuncture absolutely love it, I feel instant relief while on the bed!!
