I'm beginning to wonder if its what is wrong with me after reading your post. I feel like I have a band around my chest. It hurts to breathe. And hurts up into my left shoulder. I'm short of breath easy. Although tests normal. Heart tests good. Rheumatologist says its a flare. My Gp/ internist says it's post viral bronchitis. Been going on for almost 3 months. Nothing helps but rest. How do you know? Hugs , LJ

Thank you @A MyLupusTeam Member and @A MyLupusTeam Member for replying. @A MyLupusTeam Member I had a major incident a year before my chest pain started where I did not have chest pain, but ended up with a raging pericardial effusion and plural effusion, of which I had both fluid drained, no fun. About 4 months after that incident I started having just chest pain. None of my doctors, cardiologist included, said it was anything because they all assumed my fluid was returning even though I kept repeating this is wasn't the same as last time. Finally, I changed doctors, found my own cardiologist and he sent me in for cardiac MRI and CT. The CT was to look for Calcium because I have family history of heart disease, but the Cardiac MRI is what really found it. By the way, none of my blood tests were indicating inflammation ESR or CRP. The only ones that shows slight inflammation were my C3 and C4. Keep advocating for any answer, I've learned to take my own health into my hands and push for what I know is right.
