My husband on a side job today for a nutritionist and he was telling him I have lupus the nutrition was telling my husband that I'm not suppose to eat meat, fish, dairy. My husband told him that I stopped eating meat 5 months ago I only eat fish, he said no it's not good for us lupus patients so what can we eat๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿค”. What have you all heard?

Eating healthy does not mean stop eating everything, cutting back on sugar, red meat and pork is something every adult should follow. Cutting out fast foods, processed foods is key. Eating too much dairy can increase inflammation, so cutting back on that would be wise, never eating butter pecan ice cream๐Ÿ˜‹ again,no ma'am can't do that. Eating in moderation is key,we've lost too much to Mr lupus. No matter what, we will still have lupusโ˜บ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ.

I have found that sugar is a big no no for me. I also stay away from processed foods. I read a list of things we can't eat and I'm like what's left? I eat in moderation and agree with the others on trial and error. What worked on one person my not work for another.

I eat grass fed non gmo antibiotic free beef on a rare occasion and makes a total difference. No dairy , Nut dairys or pea protein are good for us. Gluten free is good too .

Honestly I've tried changing my diet before but it didn't make a big difference. We all have different sensitivities so theres no one size fits all diet for lupus. A well balanced diet is key. I avoid too many tomatoes bc they are nightshade vegetables that cause my lupus to act up. You have to find what is right for you.
