I cant find the posts regarding hair loss where someone posted the Rx products that led to substantial hair growth. Can you help? Does anyone else have Rx products that reversed hair loss?

Initially, my hair thinned out when I first started taking @Methotrexate. It took about 2 years to settle down--- the hair loss. One day, I decided to take Vitamin D @supplements that also had Biotin in it. Somehow, that got my hair growing new growth. It used to thin more on my hairline because that got brushed more.

I also agree with DellaBella about massaging the scalp. When I'm washing my hair in the shower, I make sure to massage my scalp. I sometimes use Nioxin Scalp Conditioner which has a minty and cool feel to it on your scalp. The minty scent is soothing and relaxing like aromatherapy. When your scalp is relaxed from massaging or brushing, it really does stimulate hair growth.

As for hair brush types: I like the natural boar bristled kind because they don't pull at your hair when you're blow-dry styling your hair. It's also not painful on your scalp. These can be expensive. My other brushes are the kind of plastic-round tips that are also comfortable to the scalp.

Be kind to your scalp and try out hair styles that won't require you to brush it to a certain style that it's forced and that you have to hairspray so much. A lot of products on your hair can also make it fall out when you brush it coz of all the guck. Using a purifying shampoo, i.e. Pureology brand, once a week, refreshes/ cleans all the build-up.

If this is too much work, consider getting your hair cut into a pixie cut. Less time; less effort.

Any brush that your hair can handle. I had a boyfriend decades ago that was getting receding & thinned out hair. I would brush his hair & take my knuckles to his receding hair line & massage with vigor, bam!! He freaked!! His hair looks great, all grew back in, receding filled in, totally amazing. It's about keeping your hair follicles excited, other wise, wax build up starts to block new growth.
I have 5 brushes, all different. Anything will work, or just massage with your knuckles.

Yes, it def helps. I've been using it for years. It keeps my scalp healthy which prevents my hair from falling out in massive amounts

My doc prescribed that amount due to intensity and frequency of my flare ups. They have decreased in both since. I'm supposed to add more when I flare, which does seem to help. I hadn't heard about od'ing on it.
