When I'm in pain my nose gets really red it looks like a sun burn. It's not raised though and is only present on my nose.
Does anyone else have this and what causes this?

I would assume it's your lupus rash. I'm not sure why it doesn't spread to your cheeks, but mine looks more like a sunburn, too. I posted a picture of it the other day. :) For me, it's my body's way of letting me know I need to slow down. I usually get it before a flare and then it sticks around until the flare is gone.

I do. My cheeks, nose, neck, sometimes my whole face and neck all the way to my cleavage area is beet red and sore. A few times it’s been only my nose.

However, It’s not just when I’m in pain, it’s random times, but I’m frequently in pain so hard to say if the 2 are related.
