Since the start of the holidays I've been depressed and have not had the drive for sex and I'm engaged and we live together. He doesn't pressure me but I feel like I'm letting him down. No this isn't for him it's for me. He understands and says that when I am in the "mood", it's even better. :(
Sex drive is heavily influenced by our hormones. These are affected by aging and illness. Talk to your doctor especially a GYN doctor. Testosterone is a major component of female sex drive. We have this hormone but just not in such high levels as men. We lose it as we age. Adding a low dose estrogen and some testosterone will amaze you and your partner. Desire for sex dramatically increases very soon. Good luck. 🤗
I thought I was alone on this topic but I guess I'm not, in a way I guess im happy to know theres not something wrong with me and might be something more with our lupus, medication or o don't know. But I was advised to take medication and I was really against it, so my partner and I researched something more natural and with no or as less posible chemicals.
Here is this cream I am using and it has been working little by little. PROGESTERONE
This has been such a relief to know that I am not alone. I have seen GYN specialists but because I have clotting issues can't adjust or take hormone replacements. Zero sex drive and husband is getting very impatient after us dealing with this for 3 years of barely having sex. Depression kicks in, I feel less than a woman because I can't meet his needs. Painful intercourse but not just from dryness-had to try a million different positions to find 1 that is tolerable again due to joint pain. Thank you for talking about it.
When I was married I lost all sex drive, depression can do this and living with an alcoholic.
Since I have been separated I have had different experiences with various partners. I have also done a lot of reading on it, as I have a hard time reaching a peak.
Kissing your partner is a huge step to getting a female body in the "mood", it's not the same for men, they are more visual, women need more touching to get in the mood, but in a very gentle way of course. Massage is very helpful if your partner is happy to step in, so important to feel relaxed and sooth some of the joints and muscles before hand sex.
p.s. I use coconut oil if I'm dry.
I was going thru something similar, due to stress, to much work, pre-menopause and my health. I was advised to use this, since it is a cream to use and not adding more medicine to my body. I tried it and did feel the difference. Try it out, we are all different, but for myself I did see the change.
