My complement levels are back to normal after being on Plaquenil now for about 4 months. Is it the plaquenil? What does it mean that they are now back up? Will they stay that way?

Low complement means there is a lot of autoimmune activity going on. Plaquenil takes about four months or so to reach full therapeutic levels in your blood, so this makes sense. it means you are doing better.

Actually, even though my IgG from my lab is in THEIR normal range when I check online the level is still considered high. I'm not sure what that means.

But, now my complements, IgG and Antibody are all back to normal.

That's what I thought. But, does that mean lupus with me having had previously a negative ANA, the low complements, high IgG and +1 RNP Antibody? My doctor has me only as "suspect" Lupus.
