I was on Hysigla ER. A slow release hydrocodone. And it worked so well. But my insurance is not refusing to cover it because its not generic. Its a new med so there is no generic. My pain doctor has asked and sent letters 3 times why i need this medication but they still refuse. So i plan to call my insurance company.
So my Questions is: has anyone ever been able to get their insurance company to change their minds? If so what did you say/do?
sorry, answered the wrong post
friend of mine said everything dries out, skin and vaginal dryness and was severe for her.
she stopped taking it. Hope your experience is better.
also what is your specific pharmacy insurance coverage state about generics versus brand. Thats where you need to start.
There a lot of things that may or not help. First ? is why do you use that med versus others. Have you tried others? Second, what did the dr write in his letters and what exactly did the insurance company respondond with.
