Their is too much pressure on my brain. They had to put in a shunt which is a drain that drains the excess fluids too lower/stabilise the pressure on my brain. They did 2 operations within 2 weeks as the first one failed. The second attempt was succesfull when they did a laminectomy to get the shunt in. We are still setting the shunt to get the pressure stabalised. The pain after the second operation was so so bad i thought I was going to die. I spend a day in highcare. How awful. I was not able to empty my bladder at all. It was so full and painful. I always struggle to wee after anesthetic but this time was hell.
