I thought of another helpful thing when I was getting ready this morning... electeic toothbrush and a water pik for flossing! Those are things I struggle with in the mornjngs but so much easier when the electric stuff does the work for you!

My lupus is the most predominant in my arms and hands. I've found small things that seem to help. I use one of those steering knobs on my steering wheel so its easier to drive. I have switched to any electric appliance (can opener, food processor, etc.) I also use arthritis grips for pens. Opening jars is nearly impossible for me but I found a thing that connects under the cabinet that helps in most cases. I find when you search for arthritis tools, youll have more luck than searching for lupus. Hope that helps!

Steroid shots help mone, but I am trying to go without. I have been eating keto for about 2 months on the recommendation of mt rheumy, and it is helping some. I still hurt a d swell, but it is more tolerable.

I have SLE and fibro, and I found a cream that seems to temporarily help with nerve pain and joint pain in my hands. It's called Topricin Fibro Cream. I use it at work because it hardly has a smell, and I type a lot so I need it a few times throughout my shift. It at least takes the edge off 🙂
