Yes, I haven't in some time. For me I notice I get them when I was dehydrated. When I would get them I now eat several olives to get some salt. I have also drank some pickle juice. I know that probably sounds strange but it worked for me.

The cramps in the feet and muscles at the sides of the lower legs are the worst. At least when it is in the calf that one can be easily stopped by putting weight on it. But for some reason for me the feet and peroneal's (lateral muscles of the lower leg) don't allow you to get weight on the leg to stop the cramp.

Most every night and often what I would consider severe - in intensity and how many muscles affected. I take about 1200 mg. of magnesium every night, which is about the only thing that helps. Still get them, but not as often or severe. There are times when the cramping happens during the day. Neck, fingers, feet, abdomen - you name it.

Not on any prescription meds for this because of the side effects.

Hi Sanbab,
Yes, yes, and more yes. I bought wrist bands to put @ my legs at night because they hurt so bad. My daughter rubs my legs every night with some roll on pain reiever from walmart. It gets me to sleep. She is so sweet!!! God bless you. Hope you feel better. A muscle relaxer at night will help also!

I do. I have to get up and stand on my foot with my other foot to make it go straight and make the pain go away.
