Thanks for that article. I relate. The brain fog is really rough. I wish I could remember all these exciting conversations everyone insists I’ve had with them...C’est la vie

Methotrexate is a no go for me at least in pill form. Horrible side effects. The pill form just didn't agree with my stomach. My doctor before the study, after the previous first doc released me from care. Wanted to put me on methotrexate injections. I honestly was scared to do them myself. Now i am in a different situation having been injection for acthar gel fir lupus soar study since may of this year . Im used to it , i just wabt this cognitive dysfunction to stop. I am losing all short term bmemory. I need to feel like me again. I will post a lunk shirtly that my nephew had found. Really informative.

They wanted to give my husband benlysta but I researched it and he decided against it. One of the reasons was that the first adverse reaction listed is may cause death. But second you can not have any infection going on when you get it and at the time he had a infection in his elbow. I say research it and feel comfortable with your decision. Let me know what you find out and decide.

I’ve been on Benlysta infusions for almost three years. It helps with my joint pain and fatigue. I had to be on it for approximately four months before I realized how much the treatment helps me. I schedule the infusion late in the afternoon. Then I have a relaxing evening and go to bed early. The next day I am fine. In the beginning of treatment, I would have sporadic nausea. My doc gave me a script for nausea that I take when I need it. Now I rarely feel nauseous. That’s my story. Please feel free to ask me other questions. Good luck 🍀
