Does ANYONE experience pain and itching with their discoid flares? My lesion feels like shingles... it ITCHES but HURTS to touch or even to tilt my head (on my scalp) it feels like I can feel the pus shift inside the sore and it’s raking every nerve ending in its wake. The sheer pain takes the energy out of me so then I’m also fatigued. Does anyone experience this? Any of it?

I take 2000 mgs per night. And the round itchies have never gone away for me :((

Try taking Magnesium. My husband was diagnosed 20 years ago with Discoid and was told by some nurses to take Magnesium and it has been in remission ever since. He takes 500 mg daily.

Thank you so much! It’s not shingles... it’s my lupus flare. The only thing I’ve experienced to come close to the sensation is shingles.... it freaking HURTS!!!

Thank you!!
