I stopped almost using salt after being diagnosed. Processed foods, bread, restaurant food I can't avoid the salt but when I cook at home I use spices, herbs or olive oil to give flavor to the food. It can be a challenge to start to read about different diets, but small differences can make a change. Some of the spices/herbs I use: turmeric, ginger, basil, oregano, rosemary.
I also use a lot of garlic but I know you should be careful since it boots the immune system. You can replace it with onions.

All of that what BettyLacy said, plus you might also google what is acceptable for lupus patients as far as diet is concerned. Also, not all dietitians are autoimmune trained either, so search for one that is. I haven't found one in the Jackson Tn area yet. Hope you have better luck with that. Protect yourself from the sun always, with clothing, sunscreen, hats, umbrella, whatever. The 'bad' sunshine is present full tilt as long as there is light in the sky. The part that causes sunburn depletes w/ the lowering of the sun but not the part that causes damage to lupus patients, and others. Learn (googling is useful) all you can about living with this illness to have the best life possible for you. Best of luck on your journey. Peace.

It's Mrs.Dash and it's good. Try eating fresh fruits and vegetables, chicken, fresh fish, drink lots of water. Food is energy and you will feel better by doing this. 💝 You can use pepper, it's the salt that's bad.

There's also different Mrs Dash flavors to choose from.
Picking food depends on what you like to eat, and how it's prepared. You might also want to check with a dietician for advice.
