My rheumatologist wants to switch me to Benlysta injectable - I've heard this can be expensive but I understand "expensive" is a relative term. If anyone feels comfortable sharing what their cost per month is for this med and if it was covered by their insurance? Thanks!
Learn more about the drug treatment mentioned above. My co pay was $600 for the monthly infusion (not weekly injection) but because of my income, I qualified for a grant that covered the rest as well as my other lupus prescriptions
I was approved through the Benlysta Gateway program. My co-pay is $5.00 per auto injector. You give yourself one injection a week!
I have a person at the hospital working with me on the finances for Benlysta and this year I was able to get a grant to cover all the copays for all my lupus medications. The two grants she applied for that I recieved are from The Healthwell foundation and The Assistance Fund. Hope this helps!
I went through benlysta gateway program paying only $5 a month. They are good about assisting to help pay .
