Erythromelalgia is a rare condition that primarily affects the feet and, less commonly, the hands (extremities). It is characterized by intense, burning pain of affected extremities, severe redness (erythema), and increased skin temperature that may be episodic or almost continuous in nature.
It has been known to come on because of Lupus and alongside of Raynauds. I'm just curious if anybody else gets this? It is horrible to deal with, but thankfully like most problems it comes and goes.
My feet hurt so bad sometimes I almost throw up from the pain. 8 months then I retire thank you God
Not a problem I always have thank goodness - I find circulation drugs help at the first sign of discomfort.
It will just burn for me and be red. . After a while - a few days to weeks - of being burning hot, they will turn purple or blue or black.
